Well thank you all for such great birthday wishes! What I thought was going to be one lame dud of a birthday, actually turned out absolutely fabulous!
Yesterday morning as I was cramming for my final later that afternoon, the doorbell rang. I opened the door to a dozen of the most gorgeous orangish-pink roses I've ever seen (see pic) complete with a silly poem about chocolate cake and putting icing on my nose, hee hee.
Later on I met Carla for lunch at The Pizza Box. It was about 70 degrees so we sat outside quizzing each other in the sun. Then I went to my very last practical exam where each of my partners and I kicked royal booty, and actually had fun in the meantime! We were joking with our professor, making silly comments about my friend Kelli abusing her future patients, and basically laughing at each other's ridiculously sloppy exam techniques.
After the exam I came home to more presents and cards with money (cha-CHING!)! I was then suprised AGAIN by a special visitor who was bearing some crazy amazing gifts.
Later I got to gorge on chicken nuggets and fries, got quizzed for my next final, played guitar, snuggled up, and slept soundly.
So here is a final tally of all my birthday booty:
